Balthazar rarely acts concerned, even when he is concerned. His behavior has been very much the same around the Villa. He's done his best to visit Lucifer and offer companionship, but angels don't interact in quite the same way as mortals. A few days, a couple weeks, even a couple months of distraction is a short span when you measure your life in epochs, and while he's worried about Lucifer's well-being, he's convinced he's mostly under stress regarding Heavenly matters, and has concluded the best thing to do is wait to be approached rather than nag him.
He's taken to puttering in the garden of late, not that anything really needs to be done, but it's enjoyable to clear out dead leaves and such and watch the effects of the season with his myriad eyes. That's where Death will find him, leaning against a tree and listening to birdsong overhead.
