He's already telling himself not to jump the gun, wait to hear what Lucifer says before fantasizing about doing anything unpleasant--already stomping on the emotional brakes, because once you strike a blow you can't take it back. But he may need to break some things later.

"Astaroth would take his time and be clever...I imagine that would be entertaining to watch from a safe distance. It's always the quiet ones."

Come to think of it, that observation applies to Belial, as well. Balthazar sighs and gives Thnisko one last squeeze before untangling himself, wings and limbs, in preparation to go look for Lucifer. "So, approach him clumsily and he'll inexplicably find me charming as usual? I think I can about manage that."

He gives the other angel a kiss on the temple. "Thank you. For coming to me with this. Trusting me."
