While Lucifer is gone, he manages to coax the owl-like creature a little closer while he continues to pet the bull. He's in the middle of telling it what a handsome creature it is when Lucifer returns with the employee.
"Yes, I am, although not for myself. They're for a friend who spends a significant time in the Wilds. Tell me, my good shopkeeper, are these two together for a specific reason? Will they continue to get along as they age?"
