The Infernal Serpent

Aziraphale holds back a small smile at their banter. Yes, this is terribly familiar. He hopes he gets the opportunity to learn more about who they are before they part ways.

But first, the game! "Ah, as it happens, I am an angel, so I'm more than qualified to answer your question." He smiles brightly before his expression freezes, turning a shade nervous. Yes, he is an angel, but he's the exception to the rule. To describe angels as they are on his Earth would be... not terribly flattering. Oh, dear.

"Well... we are ethereal," he finally continues. "We have bodies, but this --" He taps himself. "Is merely a vessel for my true form. We are tasked by God -- the creator of our universe -- to watch over humanity. To encourage them to do good instead of evil." He pauses a moment and adds with a wave of his hand. "Broadly speaking."
