Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition
Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.
Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?
Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

The knight can't help but smile as he hears Beelzebub's laughter erupt over the surface of the sound of the many conversations happening in the room. Even the smallest signals of the angel's presence bring him great joy lately, but nothing makes Galahad so happy as seeing Beelzebub laugh or smile. He turns his head to watch his lover from across the room for a moment, one ear still trained on Belial's words as the angel speaks to him.
"He means well. I think he's been more excitable than usual lately." Which is a mild description for both Beelzebub's wrath and the carousing and excitement happening at the other end of the room. "I don't know if he has told your family, but we have plans to build a house together at the edge of the Wilds." The knight's face shines as he talks about the house-- the deed for the land is still only freshly settled in a drawer back at the inn, but part of him already feels as if their home is mere weeks from being in their grasp.

"I'm not surprised." Belial can't see but Nychta is watching the knight beside him light up, and he can easily pick up on the wave of emotion that rolls off Beelzebub when he notices Galahad staring across the room. Even with the emotions he can feel and the glow to the human perceived by the hawk the commentary surprises him.
"A house?" Belial's brows go up momentarily in surprise. Out of all the angels he could imagine settling down in a house with a human, Beelzebub might be among the last, nearly so. It makes him curious about the human and what lead to such sway of the angel of war.

"Aye, the spot for it's about a twenty minute walk from here. 'Tis a big plot right on the edge of the Wilds that also borders a pond. We haven't fully drawn out plans yet, but we have a lot of ideas for what we want the house to have in it. Big rooms and spaces so Beelzebub can fit comfortably with his wings, at the very least!"
no subject
"I'm surprised." He admits as the hawk finally stops staring at Galahad. "Out of all my brothers and sisters I wouldn't have expected Beelzebub to build a house."
Those weren't the best words but he was still working over the energy change in the man before him. "I assume this is the reason for all the animals."
no subject
The knight smiles softly as Belial mentions that Beelzebub is the last person he'd have thought to settle down. "I do think he is still settling into the idea." Even after jumping in headfirst. "I think it will take some getting used to for both of us." But Galahad has full faith that it'll work out for them.

As if the thought called him his brother showed up, more drunk than Belial had seen him in awhile. The angel expected he was about to be harassed into the game. The truth was very different. The mental connections between Beelzebub and Belial are very strong and the emotions he feels surging off his brother as he picks up the knight raises his brows. He doesn't need to see to know.
Belial simply watches through the hawk's eyes and his own experince of the feelings. He can't help smiling. He waits politely for the meeting and the knight to regain himself after the heated but brief meeting. "I wasn't aware you were erastís."

Belial's words catch his attention again though, and Galahad turns that same smile on the angel beside him instead.
"Erastís?"
no subject
It seemed the most fitting term for the situation as far as the angel was concerned, even if it was indirectly just War taking a human warrior, a knight, as a lover.

"I suppose it can be a little like that sometimes. Beelzebub has been teaching me how to defend myself against angels." He rubs at one of his cheeks self-consciously, as if that might help massage away some of the blush from his skin. "But I think we're equals in a lot of ways, too-- or we each treat each other that way. He's given me the name 'Gerval'."
no subject
Few things surprise Belial at the point but the name is enough to at least get a inquiring half smile and cocked brow. "He's given you a celestial angelic name?"
It wasn't customary to bestow an angel name on a mortal but then Beelzebub wasn't known for thinking before speaking or doing what he wanted
no subject
"Aye, he has. It's beautiful. Your language has a smooth sound to it that I've never heard replicated in any earthly languages." But Galahad mostly likes it because it's yet another thing that ties him and Beelzebub together and serves as a token of their love.

"Enochian is the language of God." The angel expounds. "It is the language used by Lucifer and God to speak to each other before the universe began, and it is now the language of the angels."
