Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition
Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.
Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?
Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

Not that he hopes he has to fight anytime soon, nor drag his friends into the line of fire. But if he had to trust anyone to watch his back in battle, it would be those three.

"Blaze is a robot lady warrior. I haven't fought her yet, but she likes explosives and high velocity weaponry. And she can't die and stay dead, so that'd be handy to have in a fight. Prince is a creature called a dinosaur. Big, huge claws and teeth, could probably eat a man in a couple bites."

And the other two mentioned individuals also sound interesting.
"Did you want to ask me?"

"I dare you to... er... sing a song to someone you've never met." There, that's a good dare, right?
no subject
Had to do it.
"Hey," he says quietly. "Between you and me, if you get a question or a dare you don't want to do, just let me know and I'll veto it, okay? Just say the word, I'll convince the other two judges to agree with me. Don't get pressured into doing something you don't want to do."
Judges are supposed to be impartial, but Prometheus also looks out for his cousin from another pantheon. (And Loki would probably yell at him if he sat back and let Thor do something stupid.)

"Oh... thank you." He manages a small smile of gratitude for his friend. "Do you think that's... likely?"

Prometheus smiles warmly, then takes a shrewd look around at the other game players, tugging a little at the end of his beard.
"Hard to say, I don't know a lot of the people here. Lucifer is the epitome of xenia, so I doubt he'd let any other party-goers get out of hand. But you never know, sometimes people ask things without thinking them through. There are a whole lot more immortals than mortals, too, so the dares might be more risky. Bottom line, you give me a shout if you need me."

"Hello! I'm Deet. We don't have to play unless you want to, but I thought it would be nice to meet you."
Brace yourself, Thor, it's about to get adorable up in here.

Whatever she is, she sounds like a child of some sort. He smiles a little, less hesitant than he might be with an adult stranger. "...hi. I'm Thor." There's not a child in Asvera, or anywhere on Earth for that matter, that doesn't hold a spark of trauma in their eyes. He'd almost forgotten what it was like to see someone without it, and there's a soft ache in his chest that he can't name. "I don't think I've seen you around before...?"

"I haven't been here all that long," she tells him brightly. "A few months. And I mostly visit with skekGra and urGoh or with the angels, so it's not that surprising we haven't met yet."
"It's a little weird, actually, being almost the only person my size around. But everyone seems awfully kind so far."
She considers a moment, then adds: "If you want to play, we could just trade truths and only ask nice questions, like 'what's your favorite animal?'"

It’s probably for the best that he’s already sitting down. Makes it easier to let her look him in the eye, at least; he’s considered tall even among his own people without her being so short.
Her offer is a kind one, and though Thor knows how even the most innocent question may provoke a melancholy mood, her innocent kindness is disarming enough that he finds himself warming to the idea. “I’d like that.” Might as well begin with the question she’s already asked, then. It’s one he doesn’t have to think much about. “I like snakes best. They’re beautiful creatures, even the dangerous ones. What’s yours?”
