Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition

Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.

Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?


Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

With nothing much to do on his own end right now, Peter steps up to Lucifer. "Hey! Truth or dare?"

Lucifer is in no mood to tempt fate with a dare, even if the other option can open a can of worms.

"Truth." And for Lucifer this is cheating since he can't lie to begin with.

"Let's see... tell me about three people who have really surprised you, since you arrived to the Nexus." Peter decides on a question, that shouldn't be too much of a can of worms.

"Balthazar. I loathed celestial angels when I arrived here and we were magnets the moment we met. We have barely been apart since I stepped through our doorway."

That one was easy. After that, he has to pause and think.

"Loki, because he is so different than the one who dwells with us. And....Deet. My son has been isolated for billions of years since he was tortured. Something about her has given him the will to come out of his darkness."

"Sounds like they are definitely people who made a difference for you."

"Glad you found Balthazar. He is a good dude."

"There have been many since I arrived. I suppose it is the nature of coming out of billions of years isolated in a prison."

Lucifer can admit that easily now. "He's irreplaceable."

Lucifer grinned. "Are you playing this game tonight?"

"Up to playing. No one has asked me anything yet." Peter arches his eyebrows.

"Then let me be the first." Lucifer responds with a sly and devious glance. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare." Peter figures he might as well find out what is behind that devious glance.

Lucifer takes his time considering. There are many things about Peter's speed that he is curious about, but would those really be challenging? Probably not.

"Steal something from someone here you do not know or do not know well, but you cannot use your accelerated speed. You must do it as everyone else would, at a normal human speed."

That seemed challenging enough. Not only for skill but also restraining one's power.

“Can I do something else that is not stealing?” Peter frowns. He looks around a little worried and then lowers his voice. “I am a recovering kleptomaniac. And it would just be too tempting to... just keep on taking shit that is not mine.”

It is a part of his life that he is not proud about.

"I did not mean to bring up something you did not wish to do." He's sincere and didn't want to upset one of Balthazar's friends, someone who might be his friend.

Lucifer grins a bit. "What if we keep the dare the same but it is a kiss you must steal?"

[iwillcatchup]

"You didn't know. And thanks for respecting my yellow zone." Peter chuckled.

"That. I can do." And he will attempt to steal a kiss from Azazael.

"We all have things we wish to avoid." Lucifer sympathizes then grins as he walks off to find a target.

As soon as he realizes who Peter is going for he starts laughing. Oh! This is going to be amusing to watch. And Lucifer does sit back with a glass of wine to watch the shenanigans.
