Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition

Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.

Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?


Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

Ben recognizes Dia and approaches her. She probably doesn't want to be here, either, and he won't ask how it happened. Some things are best left unspoken. He'll make it quick so they both can maintain as much of their dignity as they can.

"Truth or dare?" It's better to get this over with, he thinks.

It's not strictly that she doesn't want to be here, it's more the fact that this isn't her usual sort of setting. But 2V insisted that she should probably be more social, and Dia admitted that he wasn't entirely wrong, since she shouldn't be entirely a hermit while she lives in the Nexus.

Thus, she was here.

Ben gets a glance, a nod, and then a quirk of an eyebrow, "I suppose I'll make this simple and start with Truth."

Ben's logic is similar. He's been trying to be a little more social in the Nexus, but it's not something he's used to. He decided to attend this get-together on a whim and doesn't regret it as much as he feels he should.

At least he's not the only one here at risk of humiliation.

"If you had to fight alongside two people in this room, who would you choose?"

There's few people Dia trusts more than her droid, even though he's, you know, a droid. If it wasn't for him, she probably wouldn't even be alive today. And, admittedly, he does offer sound advice at times.

"Aside from you, there's Harley," she nods in the blonde's direction, "And probably also Thor, I've fought alongside Harley before, and I've heard about what Thor's capable of and is typically like in combat."

"And I suppose, from my understanding of this game, I have to ask in turn, Truth or Dare?"

"Those are good choices. I've met Harley once. She gives me the impression of a capable and confident fighter. Thor, I haven't met, but I have heard about him. The people who mentioned him to me showed respect."

So, this means it's Ben's turn. He isn't happy about it, exactly, but the rules are the rules.

"That's right. I suppose, given the choice...I'll go with Dare." The lesser of two evils, as far as Ben's concerned.
