Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition

Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.

Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?


Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

"Yes." Beelzebub grins and starts to lead her over to Galahad. His cocky swagger is exaggerated because he's very proud of Galahad. It's taken some time, and pushing from others but he's getting better with the recent changes to his situation.

"Harley, this is Sir Galahad du Lac" Haughty and drunk, but the way he says the human's name is full of affection. "Galahad, this is Harley Quinn, one of those I watch over."

Ward was the proper term but it sounded too juvenile for Harley.

Galahad's in the middle of helping himself to a small fruit platter when Beelzebub and Harley come over to join him. He's glad for the company, and smiles at the pair as they come close. More comfortable with being casual in the Nexus, the knight's smile becomes a little self-effacing as the angel uses his full title.

"You can call me Galahad, if you like." A beat. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady. Are you both enjoying yourselves?"

Judging from how well everything seems to be going (and how tipsy the angel seems) it seems to him like everyone's having fun.

"Oh! I would like. A lot. But you have to call me Harley in return." Because she hella sure ain't no Lady.

"We just finished a quick little round of asking each other truths. How'about'ya? Had anyone ask you Truth or Dare yet?"

"Lucifer brought out the brandy." Which explains why he's so drunk and Galahad gets a kiss on the cheek in the middle of talking.

He's more than a little curious to see if Harley can get Galahad to play. So far, he hadn't been that the angel noticed.

"Harley then." The temptation to call Harley 'lady' is strong and reflexive, but for the sake of being casual he thinks he can manage to tamp down on the usual knightly honorifics.

The little kiss on the cheek earns a smile and a slight flushing of the knight's cheeks. He wraps his hands more securely around the apple he's nabbed from the table filled with food, suddenly needing something to distract himself with.

"Not yet, no," he admits. "I've mostly been trying to keep things from getting out of hand..." As a judge, is he even allowed to play, he wonders?

"Well I am more than alright with things getting out of hand. So Galahad… Truth? Or Dare?"

He's not entirely sure what he might be getting himself into by playing this game, but one of the options on offer seems harmless enough to Galahad.

"Truth?"

When has giving the truth ever not been a matter of course for him?

"Goodie. This will give me a chance to get to know you, since I know nearly nothing about you. So your truth, Good Galahad, is to tell me one really amazing thing about your life, that not a lot of other people know. Bonus points if not even Angel Mine here knows." She nods over to Beelzebub.

Instinctual modesty has Galahad hesitating at the word 'amazing'; He's not sure he'd describe anything about himself as amazing, or anything another person couldn't achieve with time and patience. Still, he considers the question carefully, wanting to give this new friend a worthy answer to her question.

"God sends me dreams and visions of my path. Only rarely are they clear, but they're filled with such images that would bring any person rapture: clouds being parted by pillars of light, stars sparkling on the surface of a lake I know not the name of, but know will be important to the faithful in my world." His hold on the apple in his hands tightens a little as a quietly simmering excitement rises with his words. "One day the meaning of these dreams will be clear to me, but for now I feel lucky to have been one of those chosen to receive them."
