Truth or Dare: Nexus Edition

Lucifer isn't quite sure how this madness started. The angels had opened up the council chamber for visitors and of course Beelzebub had started them drinking, then they got rowdy and people started joining them. Who had brought up the idea of Truth or Dare was unknown but it rippled through the amassing group to a uniform good idea, despite the objective nature of it being a disaster.

Then there was some vote that Lucifer missed where Galahad, Prometheus, and Belial were made judges to keep things in line. That might have been the most reasonable and sane thing since this conversation started. Chairs were rearranged to a big circle.. and all the chairs from the villa had been taken. It was crowded, specially when they decided the judges should have chaises to lounge on. This was some true ancient Greek style madness with the drinking and the topics that were sure to come up. Still, it was all fun and games, right?


Rules of the Road:
1. Top level with your character.
2. Note if you are opting this in as canon for Nexus. This may be done in top level or in individual responses (If there is any questions about this please seek out players OOC.. Discord, PM in Dw etc)
3. A character may only ask truth or dare of the same character once.
4. However, a character may ask as many different characters as they please.
5. Characters may ask questions without doing a top level. However the 1 per the same character applies
6. If your character is crossing threads for a dare, please link back to the original comment where the dare was issued.
7. When in doubt ask?

She senses him before he gets close, rising up to stand on the seat of her chair and lean against the back, which puts her...marginally closer to his face than usual. "Hello! I wasn't sure if you'd be here since it's all very...you know."

Deet doesn't mind loud parties, per se, but they're not really her normal habitat, either.

Death cautiously approaches because if the chairs and people about. Though when he is close enough he reaches out for her hand and steps close to the chair. He's learned her size well enough to be accurate as he reaches for her.

I've been avoiding most people here. Have you played?

She takes hold willingly, holding his hand with both of hers. "I've played a little, yes. There was a skeksis here I didn't know, and I thought it would be a good place to see if she was friendly or not. I think she's all right."

"I was thinking of asking other people but I don't want to get stepped on so I might just wait until they come close to me. Do you want to play? You can even ask me first, if you like."

He considers, but if he was going to choose anyone to play this game with, Deet is the one would trust.

Truth or Dare?

It's not so much that she's actively trying to coax Death out of his shell. Deet just wants to make sure he has the opportunity to step out of his shell if he wants to, and intends to stand right there with him the whole way.

She considers the question and concludes there wouldn't be much point in Truth. As close as they've let their minds mesh, she doesn't have many secrets from him. "Ohh...Dare, please!"

Death isn't ready to socialize but he will come out to see some individuals despite crowds. Deet happens to be one of them. What to dare Deet to do? The thoughtfulness fills the thread between thier minds.

I dare you to....share a food or drink here that you've never tried with someone you haven't met yet." Death really isn't one to dare something outrageous because he wouldn't be comfortable himself with such a dare.

She waits patiently while he thinks it over, giving a contented little hum at the pensive calm filling their mental connection. When he makes his decision, she grins. "Oh, that sounds fun! Give me just a moment, I'll go find someone."

And she will share the memory via Dreamfasting when she returns. There is, however, a slight chance she'll come back tipsy, depending what she ends up tasting.

Death has moved out of the center of the room while she is away for his own comfort. He knows Deet will be able to find him wherever he is in the room.

If she does return tipsy he wouldn't be surprised. He knows his brethren from both sides, and thier near universal love if drinking. He's grateful for her willingness to share as much as he is that she is meeting others.

He pauses and then offers, despite it being a breach of the rules. You can ask me whichever you'd prefer.

Even with the dreamfasting there was a lot she didn't know, or he hadn't shared. With so many memories, even the speed telepathy allowed didn't give enough time to share even a fraction of them.
